Fringe, the end…of Season 2.

I finally watched the last episode of season 2. If you have not watched this, then be warned. This post here, it contains SPOILERS.

But, before I start my review, checkout this deleted scene which may or my not give additional details about what the alternate universe it like. A Classic scene with Walter and Peter driving a classic Ford. Click.

Right, I love Fringe. This is without a doubt the best series I’ve watched in a long time! Competes with Heroes Season 1, Dexter Season 4, and even Lost Season 1.

So, in the last episode, we have a battle of the 2 universes, be it an unofficial battle between the 2 fringe divisions, still. Walternate’s intentions with Peter is made clear. Real-Olivia, Walter and Real-William Bell try and rescue Peter from Walternate’s plans of destroying our Universe. Phew… sounds pretty hectic.

There are so many scenes that are simply mind-blowing! The quarantined zones on the other-world look awesome! Walter’s acting is the best I’ve seen! The scene between Him and William Bell is awesome!

I will not reveal the end here… which is just as jaw-dropping as the entire series, which without a doubt leaves room for a super-amazing-Inter-galactic-universal-traveling-season-3.

1. I find it hard to believe that Walter was solely responsible for all the carnage in the alternate world.
2. William answers Walters question on why he removed parts of his brain so he can’t remember his wife and how to travel back. The answer is “Because you asked me to Walter”. BoooOOOOooomm!!! Is Bell telling the truth?
3. Did Alternate-William-Bell really die in a car crash? Well seeing as Nimoy is done with acting, I would think he has no future with Fringe, but you never know.
4. What the hell did Walternate do to real-Olivia? In a matter of days (possibly) shes broken down to tears and an emotional wreck?
5. Awesome showdown between Real-Olivia and Alternate-Olivia!

In the end! Awesome Awesome series, countdown to Season 3 begin!

Back on Track…

I was a bit out of action for a few days, some of you would have noticed the lack of posts for the latter part of last week. I had to make a quick stop at the hospital, but everything is in order, full road to recovery… and all should be back to normal.

Because of my immobility, the weekend included a lot of movies and time spent in front of a screen some how, I had all the time in the world to catch up on sorting out that “Stuff” folder on my Desktop, as well as catching up on Movies and Series.  Fringe is still absolutely awesome! I will give a proper post on this later. I also went to see Iron Man 2, and then I spent some time with PC Games such as Borderlands, and Battlefield 2.

In the end I am much more excited about other events happening in my life, but I will hold my tongue on this, until it is really worth mentioning.

Cheers
V.

Series? What Series?

In the land of series… it’s dry… very dry… there is absolutely nothing to watch! With Dexter being finished, it leaves only Heroes and Fringe. Heroes is just boring as hell.. we’re into episode 14 of season 4. I don’t know what these writers are doing, but it sure aint’ good.

Fringe is the only thing keeping me hopeful. It is simply stunning, but my source have run dry, and I find myself a few episodes behind.

I think it’s time I look at something else. But what? There is no way I will even attempy The Vampire Diaries, which leaves possibly True Blood. Hhmm…

I heard Supernatural is good. But, this from io9, Caprica premiered last night in the states, and apparently it’s not too shabby:

a Sci-Fi series, comparisons are being made with BSG, but it does not seem to be measuring up. So it would seem that I am not the only one looking for something new in the land of series, and not finding it.

Cheers

Procrastination, the means to Motivation?

In my quest to find motivation to actually do some work, I’ve been searching for answers in the most extreme of places. I decided to go the extra mile here, looking in any possible place…

I watched the latest episodes of Fringe:

waltersbrain

Oh my soul, episode 10 is freaking awesome! If you want to see some serious brain matter and the main story line (Olivia that has to stop this one man to open the Portal to this world and the Other) continue then watch this episode. We also get an explanation on Walters madness, more info on the first Wave and what the Leader with the new Head is planning.

Sadly I did not find any motivation there, I did learn however that if there is a remote possibility that there is another universe out there, another world just like ours over here, that meeting me would be quite an experience. I then looked for motivation in music, and the fact is, this is temporary. You can listen to ‘Eye of the Tiger’ and feel pumped and all ready to go, but this is only for a while. Music is probably one of the biggest influences in my life, but as far as motivating me to do work… nope. sorry.

Another means of finding quick temporary motivation is staring at the below picture for long enough…

marisa_miller14

For those of you that want to know, this is one of the current hottest models in the World, Victoria Secret model Marisa Miller. I realized that staring at this image for too long tends to have different results which is not really what I want (yeah… i know).. motivation remember, I want motivation, stay focused V!!!

So my journey continues….

Cheers

Fringe: The Observer Observes every episode

the-observerI remember seeing the observer in a few episodes of Fringe, there… in the background.. seemingly unnoticed. I did a bit of Googleing and what do you know, seems like he has made an appearance in EVERY episode! I am definitely going to go back and try and find him.

Here’s a few screenshots of where he has been sighted, catch him if you can! It’s like where’s Wally, only its the Observer.

Questions still remain on exactly who he/they is/are. All we know is..

They observe.

Fringe …the clash of 2 Universes

Fringe

SPOILER ALERT!!!

We are into episode 4 of my favorite series and I am enjoying this thoroughly! There is so much happening, and it surely is building up for a multi-dimensional war-zone! In this episode we finally see more of Spock..err.. William Bell, Olivia remembers her visit to the other Universe. Here’s a rundown of whats important.

1. More and more scenarios are created for Peter to realize that somethings up and he is from another universe. Sounds strange, but the time will come. this episode showed someone who has the ability to see people who “don’t belong” in this Universe, a.k.a have traveled from the other one, and Peter is spotted but not told, yet….

2. Olivia remembers her entire visit with William Bell, and we are told about quite a few things by the cool and calm William Bell:
- A storm coming, a collision of the 2 universes. The shape-shifters are soldiers from the other universe who are looking for their leader who will open the portal to the other universe.
- Charlie is spotted as the under cover shape-shifter, and in a cool fighting scene Olivia shoots the shit out of her former best FBI assisting dude.
- Olivia must stop the shape-shifting army from getting hold of their leader but unfortunately she fails and they manage to patch their leader together again.

Boy, this is too much to take in! Lastly: I still find it strange that whenever Olivia has flashbacks of her visit, she sees William Bell and Peter overlapping each other, the ones voice overlaps the other, and images of the one over the other. William also had a special message to Peter (that Russian phrase Peter’s mother use to say to him every night), now not too many people could have known about this, let alone memorized it except Peter and his mother.. so.. I am hinting toward the possibility that Peter and William Bell are the same person?

Awesome, if not the best episode yet!
