Fringe …the clash of 2 Universes

SPOILER ALERT!!!
We are into episode 4 of my favorite series and I am enjoying this thoroughly! There is so much happening, and it surely is building up for a multi-dimensional war-zone! In this episode we finally see more of Spock..err.. William Bell, Olivia remembers her visit to the other Universe. Here’s a rundown of whats important.
1. More and more scenarios are created for Peter to realize that somethings up and he is from another universe. Sounds strange, but the time will come. this episode showed someone who has the ability to see people who “don’t belong” in this Universe, a.k.a have traveled from the other one, and Peter is spotted but not told, yet….
2. Olivia remembers her entire visit with William Bell, and we are told about quite a few things by the cool and calm William Bell:
- A storm coming, a collision of the 2 universes. The shape-shifters are soldiers from the other universe who are looking for their leader who will open the portal to the other universe.
- Charlie is spotted as the under cover shape-shifter, and in a cool fighting scene Olivia shoots the shit out of her former best FBI assisting dude.
- Olivia must stop the shape-shifting army from getting hold of their leader but unfortunately she fails and they manage to patch their leader together again.
Boy, this is too much to take in! Lastly: I still find it strange that whenever Olivia has flashbacks of her visit, she sees William Bell and Peter overlapping each other, the ones voice overlaps the other, and images of the one over the other. William also had a special message to Peter (that Russian phrase Peter’s mother use to say to him every night), now not too many people could have known about this, let alone memorized it except Peter and his mother.. so.. I am hinting toward the possibility that Peter and William Bell are the same person?
Awesome, if not the best episode yet!

WOW, I hadn’t thought of that, a bit of a mind-blower. I hadn’t noticed the overlapping of Peter and William but the Greek message could be a clue. Do you mean that Peter was raised in our universe and then went back in time as William Bell to work with Walter in the past? On the other hand William Bell may just have been closely involved with young Peter (and his mother) when he was taken from the other universe. Walter would have needed help with that project! Such a great show.
Well, we all know that Walter went into the other universe and “kidnapped” young peter and brought him back to ‘this’ universe (we still don’t know what happened, but young peter died of something). I love the hints through-out the entire show, for example they would talk about custard and how Walter tells peter how he Loved custard, but Peter cant remember this. That’s because the Peter that died, used to love Custard, but the “kidnapped” peter doesn’t love custard.
as far as the Peter is willian bell theory, it makes no sense, but i just picked up the mentioned overlappings between William and Peter. Awesome show!!!
Oh, and the other thing is the “observer”. Remember him? the bald guy who just “observes”. He makes an hidden appearance in a few episodes, standing in the back-ground, or in the back in a lift. hes all over the show.
The Observer is still a mystery to me, I’m sure his role will be revealed eventually. The start of season 2 has been brilliant for just blasting through with the story instead of messing around trying to be mysterious.
Roll on episode 6!
